Carol Brockmiller serves as the Regional CEO of Quincy Medical Group, which is a division of Duly Health and Care. QMG is a physician-owned, multi-specialty clinic comprised of more than 160 physicians and advanced practice providers in over 30 medical and surgical specialties. The group, founded in 1937, is proud of the quality healthcare services available to over 500,000 people in West Central Illinois, Southeastern Iowa, and Northeastern Missouri within a 75-mile radius of Quincy, IL.
Carol joined QMG in 1997 and has led the organization as CEO for eight years. Prior to serving as CEO, she served in the role of Chief Operations Officer, as well as division lead for business services, compliance, privacy, marketing, multiple ancillary departments, and business development.
During her 25 years with QMG, she has led and driven initiatives that have resulted in growth for the organization across the tri-states, the enhancement of the physician-patient relationship, and the advancement of QMG’s workplace culture for team members to build life-long careers. As one of the largest employers in the region and with 85 years of history in caring for patients, QMG is a vital resource for the rural communities it serves. Carol leads QMG’s mission of transforming healthcare for the region including several key strategic initiatives to reduce the cost of care and serve patients in new ways; the QMG Surgery Center, Hospital at Home program, Birth Center, and QMG Hospital among them. QMG’s best practices and recent partnership with Duly Health and Care has revealed even more potential to further develop physician-directed medicine across the Duly enterprise. Early in her tenure with Duly Carol was awarded the Duly Health and Care Darrell Stremler award, given annually by Duly physician leaders to those who exemplify leadership integrity and healthcare vision.
At home in Quincy, IL Carol serves on the boards of Sunset Home, QMG Healthcare Foundation, and John Wood Community College (JWCC) Foundation. Carol also serves on the Board of Stratum-Med and sits on the Public Policy Committee of the American Medical Group Association.
A lifelong resident of Quincy, Carol graduated from Quincy University with a B.S. in Political Science. Carol and her husband, Jerry “Brock,” have a blended family of five children.
